A new technology introduced to the saddle market. Combining the fizik 00 Versus Evo unidirectional carbon fibre base and upper padding crafted using Digital Light Synthesis, leading-edge 3D printing technology developed by Carbon.

Providing seamlessly engineered zonal cushioning, support and power transfer properties.

The evolution of digital 3D printing allowed fizik to develop a new saddle without the constraints or limitations imposed by traditional production methods and materials.

Using Carbon technology, biomechanists and engineers have an unprecidented possibility: to design and manufacture multiple functional zones within the saddle, tuning each of them separately for specific mechanical properties. Each of these key functional zones is engineered with distinctive cushioning and mechanical response, joined together progressively and seemlessly in the same padding.

The first Adaptive saddles are based on the Versus Evo 00 platform - fully carbon fibre performance racing saddles that deliver power transfer and light weight, sleek design and combines with a full channel design that offers soft tissue pressure release along the full length of the saddle.

The upper of the saddle offers zonal cushioning which varies along the length of the saddle based on the required level of support for the rider. The structure of the synthesis spreads rider weight 360 degrees rather than just compressing vertically as with a more traditional foam or gel. This provides support and also comfort for the rider reducing pressure felt whilst sat on the saddle.

Professional cyclists and amateur riders were tested in both the fizik labs and on the road. During each development phase, every iteration was carefully tested. A great focus has been put on understanding how the pressure patterns change according to different bike geometries, riding positions, and riding styles.

The saddle is easy to clean, even with the filthiest road muck, all you need to do is hose it over with water. Whatever gets in, gets out. Fizik have put the saddle through the most severe tests, simulating accelerated weathering, UV aging and wear resistance.

Electric Bikes

Due to the extra weight of electric bikes, we are unable to ship these fully assembled. Instead, your bike will be built, configured and checked by our mechanics before being packed back into it's original box.

This method requires removing the front wheel, handlebars, pedals and seatpost, which will need to be reinstalled upon arrival.

To help with this we have a video guiding you through every step! However, if there's anything you'd like any help or advice, please contact us by calling 0141 332 2705 or by e-mailing sales@dalescycles.com
