The stunningly patterned Castelli PR 2 Women’s Speed Suit achieves the near-impossible by improving on the brand’s formidable, Kona bike course record-holding PR Speed Suit by remodelling the shorts to match the Premio Black Women’s Bibs.

Extensive CFD and wind tunnel testing was used to refine the latter, with the aim of saving watts in cross-wind conditions and a side-benefit of increased comfort. The resulting aero shorts are virtually seamless, with stretchy, knee-length legs that stay put without the use of silicone grippers.

Shorts aside, this suit offers all the features that made the original so fast and helped it to achieve an impressive clutch of long-distance and 70.3 victories. For example, it’s made with the same elbow-length sleeves and knee length legs, both with raw cut ends, using a thin, smooth fabric on the upper body in an effort to reduce drag. It also carries striking silicone speed ribs on the sleeves, for the same reason. The fabric furthermore ensures that sweat evaporates close to the skin, helping you to stay cool while running.

As well, it carries the opening at the front between the upper and lower portions originally used in the Sanremo suit. This allows heat to escape and makes it easy to vent the suit mid-run if necessary. It also promotes comfort when leaning forward on the bike, without restriction while in the upright position required to complete the other legs.

The whole suit is built around the quick drying Castelli KISS Tri seat pad, which skilfully walks the line of being thick enough to cushion the bike ride and thin enough not to obstruct the swim or run. It also includes two slim, side opening mesh pockets at the back, big enough to hold race nutrition. 

All in all, the new suit is more comfortable, speedy and technical that its predecessor, while being lighter than ever.

Fully Assembled Delivery from Dales Cycles

Dales Cycles is one of the only online cycle retailers in the Uk to offer a delivery option that truly reflects a 'fully built' bike arriving at your door. This premium delivery option is known as 'Ready to Ride' and costs £35* per bike.

'Ready to Ride' bikes come in a bespoke bike box, with a minimal packaging approach and all tools supplied, you really can be off and riding your new bike in less than a few minutes.

This unique premium delivery service eliminates the need for foam, bubble wrap and zip-ties too, so it’s also better for the planet. We recycle all this stuff, so where you can, please try and do the same. Apart from doing your bit for mother Earth, it will give you a warm, fuzzy feeling that you just can't buy!

Standard Delivery

In addition to our 'Ready to Ride' premium delivery service, we also offer a 'Standard Delivery' option on all bikes. Bikes ordered using this service will require some basic setup on delivery. An easy to follow setup guide is provided with all bikes.

Electric Bikes

Due to the extra weight of electric bikes, we are unable to ship these fully assembled. Instead, your bike will be built, configured and checked by our mechanics before being packed back into it's original box.

This method requires removing the front wheel, handlebars, pedals and seatpost, which will need to be reinstalled upon arrival.

Delivery Time

We try our best to process orders as soon as we receive them, most orders will be dispatched within 1 working day and we aim to dispatch all orders within 1-3 working days of order confirmation.

Delivery times will be longer in circumstances where items are from our supplier.

We will advise you of any possible delays when you place your order.

You will receive an email confirmation at various stages of your order process as well as upon dispatch.

 

Delivery Handling

We use either DPD, Evri or Royal Mail Delivery Service for all deliveries.

A signature will be required to receive your order*

When we dispatch your order, you will receive an e-mail containing a DPD, Evri or Royal Mail tracking number.

You can use these emails to access DPD, Evri or Royal Mails Track and Trace system on their respective websites. This will give you information regarding expected delivery times.

All orders are sent using either DPD Next Working Day, Evri Next Day or 2-3 Day Service or Royal Mail tracked service.

Depending on your location and the time of year, your order should arrive, at the latest, 3 working days after dispatch.

If your item has not been received after this time you can contact TNT, DHL, DPD or Royal Mail directly, quoting your Tracking Reference number or contact Dales Cycles by emailing sales@dalescycles.com.

Although we can take no responsibility for any delivery delays or problems out-with our control caused by DPD, Evri Royal Mail or any other carrier, we will do all we can to help resolve any delivery problems.

You will be responsible for the items as soon as they are delivered so please check your delivery before you sign for it and if your package is damaged please sign for it as such and contact us to let us know.

 

*Highlands & Islands Surcharge

Sometimes, we may need to apply a shipping surcharge at checkout for remote locations. This will be calculated automatically and applied where appropriate. 

For deliveries in the Highlands & Islands, our couriers tend to outsource the final leg of delivery, hence the increased cost.

International Delivery
